Don’t get me wrong. I am not saying people who like good things in life cannot help you achieve success. When you are hunting for your dream, the best partner has to believe in you and support you in all things. If just building your business you don’t need the gold diggers.
But if you’re rich like Bill Gates or Jack Mah, you may go ahead and marry that person. When you are running a startup, you need more sacrifices.

If you are hunting for your dream, don’t do what you cannot afford. For instance, if you don’t buy a new car, do not buy an expensive used car. When you’re hunting for your dream at the start, live like a slave for a few years.
You don’t need a gold digger to come and exploit you in all your activities. That person may tell you to live in a first-class home instead of an affordable house you can start your business.
Probably, you may be saving towards your business setup, but this partner may be demanding money always. You can never save your business. This will repel you away from hunting for your dream job or business. It will prevent you from building a successful business in your way.
I’m sorry I never intend to drive your attention out of your relationship but to place you in the right place. You don’t have to marry someone who will bring you down, but someone who will advise you to live like a slave and invest more.
Do not marry someone who cannot make sacrifices for tomorrow if only you want to be an entrepreneur. You need to get his/her support and believe you in hunting for your dream. This is my personal opinion and no matter what I say it may not work for other people. I have seen people marry the right partner but yet things failed to work in their business.
